June 7, 2016—CCC Information Services Inc. (CCC) announced Monday that its consumer auto repair reviews and repair status information platform, Carwise, now has more than 1 million customer-written reviews.
Carwise provides listing information to help consumers find local auto body shops with the help of reviews, generated in the post-repair customer survey. The consumer website also connects to the CCC ONE Total Repair Platform and allows shops to display reviews on their website. More than 90 percent of consumers say their buying decisions are affected by online reviews, according to a survey from Dimensional Research.
“Our approach with Carwise has been to create a platform that helps our repair customers connect, inform and engage with consumers so they can capture more business and showcase their great work,” said Mark Fincher, vice president of Market Solutions for CCC. “We’re excited to reach this milestone and because so many of our repair customers are seeing value in it, we expect adoption to continue to grow at an accelerated rate.”
CCC expects Carwise to receive more than 2 million unique visitors in 2016.
