June 29, 2016—Caliber Collision announced Tuesday that its chief executive officer, Steve Grimshaw, has been named Ernst & Young’s 2016 Southwest Entrepreneur of the Year in the service category.
Grimshaw received the award at the annual Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Gala in Dallas. The award recognizes those men and women who create the jobs, products and services that help the economy and communities grow.
“I am honored and humbled to receive this award on behalf of Caliber’s 9,000 teammates who are dedicated to achieving our overall company purpose, which is to Restore the Rhythm of Lives for our customers, team members, and the local communities that we serve,” Grimshaw said.
Grimshaw took over as CEO in 2009, growing Caliber Collision from 68 locations to 412 in 16 states. Grimshaw also spearheaded several of Caliber Collision’s philanthropic efforts, including an annual Rhythm Restoration Food Drive, the Recycled Rides Program and the American Heart Association’s Côtes du Coeur program.
