ABRA to Launch Career Development Academy

June 10, 2016

June 10, 2016—ABRA Auto Body & Glass announced that it is now enrolling students in its brand-new Career Development Academy SpringBoard program, which is located in Eagan, Minn., and set to open later this summer.

Students can apply now for the five-week training course, which offers guaranteed employment and benefits eligibility from day one of training. Students are paid during the program and out-of-state attendees will also receive room and board.

After completing the program, graduates will receive an hourly pay increase resulting from I-CAR certifications obtained during the program, a complete tool set worth $3,000, eligibility for a $30,000 retention bonus and assignment to an ABRA location as a C-level technician.

The apprentices will start at $15 per hour after completing the program. In a press release, ABRA said that students have access to high earning potential, with the average ABRA body technician earning $80,000 in 2015, as well as the opportunity to advance through B- and A-level technician roles or front-office roles.

Enrollment is now open for high school of GED graduates 18 or older at abracda.com.
