VSG, Habitat for Humanity Announce Partnership

June 2, 2015

June 2, 2015—On Monday in Madison, Ind., the Vehicle Service Group (VSG) announced that it has partnered with the Habitat for Humanity Jefferson County on a 2015 sponsorship program.

The sponsorship will include a monetary donation plus more than 200 hours of labor provided by VSG employees to Habitat’s current family build projects.

“Habitat for Humanity of Jefferson County is excited and grateful to partner with VSG to continue to eradicate substandard housing in our community. Their generous financial gift and the contribution of working hours by their employees will have a major impact during our 2015 building season,” said Amy Ray, executive director of Habitat for Humanity of Jefferson County.

Habitat for Humanity of Jefferson County recently announced its next partner family, a renovation of an 1860s shotgun house in Madison’s downtown historic district for the Droddy family.

"I am really amazed by, and grateful for, the number of people from VSG willing to give of their time and talents for this Habitat for Humanity project for our home. Thank you," said future homeowner AJ Droddy.
