June 26, 2012

June 26, 2012—Keenan Auto Body Inc., an 11-shop collision repair operation based in Clifton Heights, Pa., recently raised $30,000 for Little Smiles Philadelphia during its 14th annual charity golf outing at Penn Oaks Golf Club.

“I am very pleased to announce that we have raised a record amount of at least $30,000 for Little Smiles Philadelphia, an all volunteer organization,” said Michael LeVasseur, president and chief operating officer of Keenan. “We are waiting for the final tallies and post event checks to announce the accurate total, but we know it’s at least $30,000 and we couldn’t be more proud.”

Keenan said it has raised more than $255,000 for local charities through its 14 annual golf outings. The company has raised donations for organizations such as Big Brothers Big Sisters, Camp Make A Dream Foundation, Delaware County Children and Youth Services, Papa Pandeli Fund, Make A Wish Foundation, Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House and the Russella Educational Fund.

This year’s recipient of Keenan’s fundraising effort, Little Smiles Philadelphia, is a nonprofit volunteer organization that provides assistance and support to children in local hospitals, hospices and shelters.

“Without the support of our industry partners events like these would not be possible,” said Crag Camacho, marketing director for Keenan. “I want to personally and sincerely thank everyone that played a part in this year’s outing. For our sponsors, their consistent loyalty by generously supporting our charities is incredible even in an uncertain economy.”
