CARSTAR Auto Body to Share Latest Trends in Webinar

June 2, 2015

June 2, 2015—CARSTAR will hold a webinar on industry trends on Wednesday at 10 a.m CDT .

Topics will include:

  • How digital technology is changing estimating, purchasing, and customer service
  • What increases in collision and comprehensive claim frequency mean for your business
  • Why newer, more complex cars now cost more to repair
  • Mother Nature – Polar Vortex and Hail storms driving losses and claims

Space is limited, and registration is now available online.

Certain key performance indicators, like total loss values, along with repair and labor costs are returning to pre-recession levels. Several factors including cheaper gas and stronger employment have led to this. Severe weather patterns have contributed to more accidents.

With new car sales up, that means that the average cost of repair has increased. Vehicles are built with lightweight materials and more complex construction techniques, as well as newer technology which means new equipment, tools and training are required for repair.

“We are seeing rapid changes in our industry,” said David Byers, CEO of CARSTAR Auto Body Repair Experts.  “For us to continue to deliver the best possible service to our customers and insurance partners, we have to not only keep up, we have to try and stay ahead of the curve.”
