ASQ Announces Quality Leader of the Year Award

June 6, 2014—The Automotive Division of the American Society for Quality (ASQ) announced Friday it named Bob Frayer of NSF International as its Quality Leader of the Year Award winner.

The award recognizes leaders in the automotive industry who show a strong dedication to quality.  Frayer was awarded for his leadership in overseeing the public health and safety organization’s Automotive Collision Certification program.

NSF covers parts for more than 20,000 vehicle applications, including models from each major auto company.

“We are honored to recognize the achievements of Bob Frayer and NSF International for their dedication to continually advance the quality and safety of the aftermarket automotive parts industry,” said Jd Marhevko, ASQ fellow and ASQ Automotive Division council member.
