Gerber Acquires Oregon Collision Shop

July 13, 2016—The Boyd Group Inc. announced Tuesday that it has acquired Blue Ribbon Autobody, a collision repair shop in Portland, Or. The shop will now operate as a Gerber Collision & Glass.

"In October 2015 we acquired our first location in Oregon and with this center we now have seven, all strategically located to serve the Portland area," said Tim O'Day, president and COO of the Boyd Group's U.S. operations. "Building this regional presence increases our capacity so we can both better assist our insurance partners and reach out to new customers."
