Aug. 27, 2010

August 27, 2010—Web-Est recently named “Google Places” as one of the most effective search engines for local listings—specifically for collision repairers.

The service is completely free and an extremely effective way of marketing for repair shops according to Web-Est, which supplies the industry with a collision repair estimating program.

"Google Places gives businesses a chance to connect with consumers in a specified location,” said JR Seidel, director of Internet marketing at Web-Est. “By listing the business online in a Yellow Pages-like directory, [it] appears to a consumer every time they search particular terms in Google's search engine."
