Jan. 6, 2016—Liberty Mutual Insurance has partnered with Subaru to create the Liberty Mutual RightTrack in-vehicle application available on the SUBARU STARLINK cloud platform. The new app offers real-time driving feedback, aimed at helping to reduce insurance premiums for safe drivers, according to a release.

The RightTrack app will provide driving assessment and coaching to Subaru owners based on their actual driving behavior. Depending on their driving performance, Subaru drivers will be eligible for savings through RightTrack.

"We are excited to bring this innovative offering to market," said Hamid Mirza, auto product manager, Liberty Mutual Insurance. "This partnership combines Liberty Mutual's extensive experience and reach in usage-based insurance with Subaru and Clarion's cutting-edge connected car technology to bring RightTrack savings to consumers in new ways."

The Liberty Mutual app will be available in 2016 to Subaru models equipped with SUBARU STARLINK.
