CARSTAR Aims to Eliminate Distracted Driving

Feb. 15, 2016

Feb. 15, 2016—In an effort to eliminate texting while driving, CARSTAR has announced its support of the National Auto Body Council’s (NABC) “It Can Wait” campaign.

CARSTAR Flagstaff (Flagstaff, Ariz.) has teamed with Great Circle Media and Flagstaff Subaru to encourage teens to take a pledge to stop distracted driving. Those that take the pledge are entered to win a 2016 Subaru Crosstreck.

The program will kick off March 1 and run through next February.

“At CARSTAR Auto Body Repair Experts, we are on the front lines of helping people improve their safety on the road,” said Jeff Stanley, owner of CARSTAR Flagstaff. “Through the NABC It Can Wait campaign, we can educate drivers about the dangers of texting and driving, and engage drivers, their families and friends in putting down the phone and focusing on the road.”

CARSTAR Flagstaff has also enlisted the help of local police departments and high school to help educate teens on the consequences of driving while distracted.
