AASP accepting grant applications

Sept. 13, 2011 — The Alliance of Automotive Service Providers (AASP) recently announced it is once again accepting grant applications for initiatives aimed at improving the collision and mechanical repair industries.

The deadline for grant applications is Oct. 7. Requests will be accepted through Oct. 7 and reviewed at the AASP board meeting in November.

The AASP’s Industry Improvement Grant program was established in 2010 to fund innovative projects that address unment needs in collision and mechanical repair. So far, the program has awarded more than $20,000 in grants. The AASP has also contributed more than $57,000 toward management and technical education programming hosted by affiliate organizations.
