ABRA Acquires Seven Shops in Washington State

Feb. 9, 2015

Feb. 9, 2015—ABRA Auto Body & Glass announced Friday that it has acquired seven collision repair centers in Washington.

ABRA acquired six Barrett’s Collision Centers in South Puget Sound/Tacoma and the Olympia areas, along with GW Auto Rebuild in Edmonds.

The expansion comes less than two years after ABRA first entered the region, and it increases the company’s total number of repair facilities to 264 in 20 states.

“ABRA will continue to utilize its strong management team and talented employees to build on its accomplishments in 2015 and deliver value to our customers and business partners,” Duane Rouse, ABRA’s president and CEO, said in a release. “Acquiring these centers is another opportunity to solidify our presence in the Pacific Northwest and enhance the success we’ve achieved in the region and across the country.”
