Cadillac Announces Launch of Aluminum Repair Network

Dec. 2, 2015

Dec. 2, 2015—Cadillac announced on Wednesday that it will launch its Cadillac Aluminum Repair Network that will coincide with the upcoming production of the Cadillac CT6.

The Cadillac Aluminum Repair Network will ensure that repair facilities have the necessary tools, equipment, processing procedures, and training to properly repair the Cadillac CT6 using the new mixed material, aluminum intensive construction.

The training will be primarily web based through a combined effort between GM and I-CAR. GM will support the collision repair industry by offering the CT6 collision repair information at no charge.

To participate in the program, authorized dealers and independent body shops will undergo audits as part of their continuation in the program.

Information on the Cadillac Aluminum Repair Network will be available here in the first quarter of 2016.
