FACA Launches Ray Gunder Labor Rate Survey in Florida

Dec. 10, 2014

Dec. 10, 2014—National AutoBody Research (NABR) announced Tuesday its partnership with the Florida Autobody Collision Alliance (FACA) to launch the Ray Gunder Real-Time Labor Rate Survey in the state of Florida.

The survey measures the current range of market prices for shop labor and material rates in the collision repair industry, based on factors such as a shop's location, training, equipment, and certifications.

As repair shops complete the survey, NABR's Variable Rate System (VRS) calculates the range of market-based rates for several labor rates including body, paint, frame, and mechanical labor, as well as paint and material rates.

In addition to Florida, NABR recently launched the VRS Ray Gunder Survey in Georgia and Texas.  Throughout 2015, the Company plans to launch surveys in all 50 states to add more labor rate data to its VRS system, further enhancing the industry's first and only independent, third-party, and objective source of real-time, market-based, national labor rate data.
