Aug. 24, 2016—Erie-LaSalle Body Shop, based in Chicago, donated a brand-new Polyvance nitrogen welder to Lincoln Tech after it won a raffle at the Collision Repair Education Foundation’s Golf Fundraiser during the 2016 NACE/CARS Expo & Conference in Anaheim, Calif.
The nitrogen welder, valued at $3,800, was provided by Polyvance for the Ed. Foundation’s Golf Fundraiser raffle. Along with the welder, Lincoln Tech is to receive some on-the-spot courtesy training upon delivery.
“I would just like to say thanks to Bob Gottfred of Erie-LaSalle Body Shop not for just this donation but for the continual support Lincoln Tech’s Collision program has received from Bob,” said Mark Barzyk, Lincoln Tech education supervisor. “Bob has been on our industry advisory panel since the inception of our program in 2010 and it has been him and other panel members that continue to make our program better on a continual basis. My staff, students, and myself are extremely grateful for this donation and are positive that this is another step toward staying on track with current technologies.”
