Sherwin-Williams Announces Lean Workshop Training Hosted by NASCAR Teams

April 5, 2016

April 5, 2016—Sherwin-Williams announced Monday that its next EcoLean Level 1 workshop will take place June 28-29 at NASCAR Sprint Cup Series teams Joe Gibbs Racing and Roush Fenway Racing in Charlotte, N.C.

The session will include training in the benefit and execution of lean principles and behind the scenes tours and discussion with the NASCAR team members. Collision center owners and managers will see first-hand how lean philosophies will assist workflow, communication and productivity.

“We aim to give our EcoLean workshop attendees an extensive and comprehensive look at how they can create a lean environment in their own facility,” Greg Eisenhardt, Sherwin-Williams marketing manager, said. “This is a particularly special and rare opportunity for many collision repair experts. Our attendees will be able to learn lean principles while engaging with our business consultants and some of the motorsports industry’s leading professionals.”
