AkzoNobel launches color formula apps for iPhones and smartphones

August 9, 2010—AkzoNobel Car Refinishes announced the release_notes of its new color retrieval applications for iPhones, iPads, iPod Touches and other smartphones.

The Sikkens Mixit Online system allows any mobile phone that connects to the Internet to access formula information, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The iMatch Color application for Apple’s i-series allows for the same instant access and can be downloaded at the online “app store.” The formula systems and applications are free for all AkzoNobel customers.

“Delivering color information to mobile phones is just the latest example of the color solutions [AkzoNobel] offers its customers,” said Ben Zweers, color marketing director for AkzoNobel. “We are asserting our leadership in color by example.”
