Feb. 29, 2012

Feb. 29, 2012—FinishMaster Inc., a distributor of automotive and industrial paint products, on Wednesday promoted Jim Muse as vice president of business development.

FinishMaster said Muse will be responsible for building and implementing the company’s strategy around the national accounts and multiple shop operation (MSO) segments of the industry.

"Multi-shop operations are the fastest growing piece of the collision repair industry, and FinishMaster has the industry leading tools and footprint to service these customers," said Steve Arndt, vice president of national sales for FinishMaster. "The MSO segment is very strategic to our growth and Jim will lead our efforts to partner with these customers and our vendors to help them achieve their goals."

Muse has more than 20 years of experience in the collision repair industry, according to FinishMaster. He has served FinishMaster since 2002 as district sales manager, area sales manager, and most recently regional sales vice president in the Southern region.

"FinishMaster has a great story to tell, and I am looking forward to telling it. We continue to work hard at leveraging our national footprint to provide the industry with services that help collision repairers become more efficient and ultimately more profitable,” Muse said. “Sustainable success requires continuous improvement. Today's customers make requests everyday for services such as process mapping, e-commerce, contact centers, inventory management, technical representation and waterborne expertise. No matter what the requests, we want to be a key factor in our customers' success."
