CARSTAR announces promotions, company restructuring

Nov. 14, 2011—CARSTAR Auto Body Repair Experts recently announced it is promoting many team members and restructuring how the company provides field services and marketing support for its franchises throughout the country.

CARSTAR said the promotions and company restructuring are designed to create a foundation for growth, drive performance results and more effectively allocate resources throughout the organization. The company is doubling its business development team as it prepares to add more store locations over the next year.

Changes within CARSTAR’s field service team are as follows:

• Rick Miller was named as director of operations for CARSTAR. Miller will be service the multi-unit CARSTAR operations, develop operational tools, work with key vendors on operational efficiencies and guide the development of production focus groups. 

• Dale Hastings was named as a senior operations manager for CARSTAR. Hastings will oversee regional sales managers around the country.

• Melissa Miller was also named as a senior operations manager for CARSTAR. Miller will oversee regional sales managers around the country.

In addition, CARSTAR is reorganizing its marketing resources. The position of assistant vice president of marketing, held by Bill Garoutte, will be eliminated. Melissa Stevens, brand manager for CARSTAR, will take interim responsibility for corporate marketing and branding programs. Tim Jackson, West regional marketing manager for CARSTAR, will take interim responsibility for field marketing programs, according to CARSTAR.
