March 20, 2012—Mitchell International on Monday launched RepairCenter ToolStore, a marketplace that allows shops to efficiently connect with their collision repair trading partners.
RepairCenter is the collision repair industry's first platform that manages the repair, customer and business from a single customizable workspace, according to Mitchell. With the addition of ToolStore, Mitchell said its RepairCenter platform will be integrated with third party add-on tools that shop operators need to streamline workflows and run their businesses more profitably and efficiently.
Mitchell said 15 companies are currently signed up with RepairCenter ToolStore, including: Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Sherwin-Williams, Hertz, LKQ, GRC-Pirk, UpdatePromise, AutoHouse Technologies, Airbag Solutions, 1-800-Radiator, Car-Part.com, CollisionNotes, KPA, Driven Solutions, ClaimsCorp and Collision Biz.
"Mitchell's RepairCenter ToolStore opens the door to collaboration and integration," said Jim O'Leary, vice president of repair solutions for San Diego-based Mitchell. "We have a lot of great ideas here at Mitchell, but we know we can't do it all. The ToolStore brings the industry together, providing all the right tools in a single workspace. It's not just software anymore; it's a platform for innovation and efficiency."
