Education Foundation's Golf Fundraiser Expected to Sell Out

Feb. 14, 2013

Feb. 14, 2013—The Collision Repair Education Foundation has already sold more than half of the 144 player registration spots available for its annual summer golf fundraiser, the organization announced Thursday.

The event, which will take place July 25 in Boston, is expected to sell out by the end of March. The Education Foundation urges interested participants or sponsors to register as soon as possible.

The tournament will be held at the South Shore Country Club, a championship par 72 golf course. The Boston Beer Company has donated a “tasting table” for golfers, and a Boston area car dealership has pledged a vehicle as a “hole-in-one” prize. Several other contests will be offered during the event.

The fundraiser will be held in conjunction with the Collision Industry Conference (CIC) meeting and I-CAR industry meetings scheduled for the same week in Boston.

Funds raised through the event will assist the Education Foundation in providing support to collision repair students and their schools' collision programs.

Collision industry professionals interested in registering for the golf fundraiser should contact Brandon Eckenrode, director of development for the Education Foundation, at [email protected].
