Aug. 16, 2012—Insurance Auto Auctions (IAA) has donated $10,000 to the Collision Repair Education Foundation.

The Education Foundation said the donation will support its Collision Repair Education Campaign fund, which provides annual student scholarships, school grants, and the $50,000 Ultimate Collision Education Makeover grant.

“IAA is proud to provide financial support that will help remove financial barriers to education and attract and inspire students to pursue career options in the collision industry,” said Donald Hermanek, chief client officer at IAA. “IAA values the important work the Collision Repair Education Foundation does in building awareness of the industry and rewarding those students who bring passion for their trade.”

“Insurance Auto Auctions’ donation significantly helps our efforts in supporting secondary and post-secondary collision students and their school’s collision programs,” said Clark Plucinski, executive director of the Education Foundation. “It is through this continued support that the Education Foundation can help ensure that students receive the best educational experience possible before entering into the industry.”
