Date set for Lou Scoras Memorial Golf Outing

April 24, 2012

April 24, 2012—The Alliance of Automotive Service Providers of New Jersey is hosting its eighth annual Lou Scoras Memorial Golf Outing on May 21 at the Colonia Country club in Colonia, N.J.

Scoras died eight years ago, and since then, the New Jersey AASP chapter has honored him by running an afternoon of golf, as well as a dinner and raffle with proceeds going to a fund in Scoras’ name.

“This event is one of our association’s high points of the year,” AASP/NJ Executive Director Charles Bryant said in a prepared statement. “Even more so because along with raising money for a good cause, we are honoring a person who meant so much to the association and the industry. It’s a win-win for all who partake.”

Bryant is expecting more than 100 people at the golf outing, as well as dozens of sponsors.
