LAS VEGAS, Nov. 7, 2013—The National Auto Body Council gifted four vehicles to local families through its Recycled Rides program Thursday from the 2013 SEMA Show floor.
The families were selected by Family Promise of Las Vegas, an organization that helps homeless and low-income families transition from homelessness to stability and independence.
“Lack of reliable transportation is a daily challenge for families struggling to regain financial stability while caring for their family,” said Terry Lindemann, executive director of Family Promise of Las Vegas. “These gifts through the Recycled Rides are a game-changer for our families. We are grateful to the NABC and the local Las Vegas member shops that provide our families, year after year, with help to ease the transportation burden for these families.”
The gifted vehicles were donated by State Farm, Allstate Insurance Company, Esurance and Hertz. The vehicles were refurbished by Caliber Collision, Sterling Auto Body Centers and Collision Authority.
