RDE to give waterborne refinish technology demonstration at SEMA

Oct. 11, 2012 — The Society of Collision Repair Specialists' (SCRS) Repairer Driven Education (RDE) series will provide 2012 SEMA Show attendees with the opportunity to learn about the latest water-based refinish technology that is having an impact in both the collision repair and custom markets.

Held on Nov. 1 at 3 p.m., the two-hour session, entitled “RD15 Waterborne Refinish Coatings: What Are You Waiting For?”, will be led by product experts Tim Jones, Dr. Gareth Hughes and John Parran with PPG Automotive Refinish.

The program will demonstrate the capabilities and the unique advantages of water technology in today's demanding markets in addition to a historical overview of the evolution of the product, and status reports on North American legislation that will impact how you do business in the future.
