June 15, 2011 — Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes announced Wednesday it plans to host its next A-Plus Network University EcoLean workshop Aug. 9-10 in Seattle.
The program, which will cover lean production and green initiatives, is designed for shop owners and managers interested in being both more efficient and environmentally friendly. The workshop is meant to teach shops to take advantage of the disciplines through a sustainable program that should ultimately boost profitability through waste reduction.
“We are excited with the response to our EcoLean program,” said Rodes Brown, manager of marketing strategic programs for Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes. “We see the market moving rapidly toward business models that are leaner and address current environmental issues, and we have now built a compelling set of tools and services to help our customers drive efficiency and reduce waste, both financial and environmental.”
