AASP/MA partners with CCRE to offer legal courses

Sept. 5, 2012

Sept. 5, 2012—The Alliance of Automotive Service Providers of Massachusetts (AASP/MA) will host a series of three seminars presented by the Coalition for Collision Repair Excellence (CCRE).

The series will span a 10-week period, providing information on repair authorizations and contracts, job costing, interpreting legal documents, and more.

“The CCRE has made a name for itself over the years as a group of consultants who work diligently to help shops be the best they can be,” said AASP/MA President Rick Starbard. “As with past CCRE educational offerings, this series of seminars has been met with rave reviews in locations such as Cleveland, Philadelphia, and Birmingham, Ala. We knew there was an incredible value in the information being presented in these seminars, but the reality is that many repairers can’t afford to spend extra time away from the shop traveling. So we worked with CCRE to develop a plan and bring these great seminars to AASP/MA members’ own backyards.”

The sessions will take place Sept. 15, Oct. 20 and Dec. 1. All three seminars are being held at the Best Western Royal Plaza Hotel and Trade Center in Marlborough, Mass. The cost for the series will be $495 for the first shop representative, and additional participants from the same company get a discounted rate of $295 per person. “This represents a savings of well over $3,000 off the course’s regular price,” Starbard said.

For more information, visit www.theccre.com/html/aasp_ma.html, or call the AASP/MA office at (800) 988-4378, extension 102. Pre-registration is required for these seminars.
