LAS VEGAS, Oct. 17, 2013—Car-Part.com announced Thursday several enhancements to Car-Part Pro, its parts marketplace for repairers and insurers.
Car-Part Pro and Car-Part Messaging will now read and modify estimates using the CIECA EMS standard.
Both insurers and repairers can also use Car-Part Messaging to facilitate communication with part sellers.
Users will be able to access parts-ordering capability through the “Order Part” button, which automatically performs a real-time part-availability check with supported inventory systems.
Car-Part said the new “Seller Order Manager” will help part sellers manage online orders and create order notifications in real time.
