March 9, 2012—GRC-Pirk Management, the registrar for FindGreenGarage.com, recently announced that The Fristoe Group has been named as an official partner of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Apps-for-the-Environment website to help automotive service and repair shops achieve recognition in local clean and green city programs.
"In these challenging economic times, the focus on green human resource practices is generating real cost savings for shops, while helping owners and managers improve sustainability and environmental resources for the future," said Daren Fristoe, president of The Fristoe Group, a provider of human resources products for small businesses. "This recognition as a Green Garage partner underscores our commitment to our clients to help them help sustain the environment in their own community.”
“As a Green Garage partner, Alliant recognizes The Fristoe Group’s valued approach of helping shop owners improve risk management and save expenses that, in turn, improve employee relations, optimize shop safety and compliance, and minimize the general and administrative cost of doing business,” said Franco Ganino, vice president of Alliant Insurance Services.
FindGreenGarage.com is an EPA Apps-for-the-Environment program that is used to locate automotive shops registered in Energy Star partnerships, state and local climate and energy programs, and clean and green city campaign databases, according to GRC-Pirk. The mapping features coexist with sets of public information and data on greenhouse gas emissions, energy efficiency and carbon footprint sustainability.
