AASP/NJ reschedules annual golf outing

June 4, 2012

June 4, 2012—The Alliance of Automotive Service Providers of New Jersey’s (AASP/NJ) eighth annual Lou Scoras Memorial Golf Outing has been rescheduled for June 21.

AASP/NJ said the golf outing was originally scheduled to be held in May, but was moved due to inclement weather.

Charles Bryant, executive director of AASP/NJ, said more than 100 players and dozens of vendors have signed up to participate in the golf event, which will be held at the Colonia Country Club in Colonia, N.J. The event will begin with lunch at 11:30 a.m. EST, followed by a shotgun golf start at 1 p.m. EST. The tournament will conclude with dinner and several prizes.

“It’s looking like this year’s outing will be our most successful to date,” Bryant said. “The weather has actually turned into a positive because it has given more industry people the opportunity to get involved. Everyone is looking forward to getting on the links.”
