NSF adds two manufacturers in third round of certifications

October 19, 2010—NSF International announced on Tuesday the certification of its third set of bumper absorbers since the program began in June.

NSF approved 50 new front and rear bumper absorbers. Taiwanese manufacturers Cobra King Industry Co. and Auto Power Co. received 18 certified parts, according to NSF. Previously only the U.S. manufacturer Diamond Standard had parts that had been approved. The remaining certified absorbers were Diamond Standard parts.
