April 9, 2010—The Automotive Service Association (ASA) announced an agreement with ContactPoint Solutions that will offer ASA members a free customer sales and service appraisal.
As part of the appraisal, ContactPoint will make three calls posing as a potential customer. Each call will be uploaded to a secure website and scored based on industry best practices, according to the ASA.
ASA member shops will be have access to the secure site. Shop owners can listen to the calls, view the scores and compare their sales teams with industry averages, according to the ASA. A ContactPoint trainer will review the calls with shop management and share tips for turning callers into customers.
St. George, Utah-based ContactPoint provides tools and support for automotive service and repair businesses to increase sales and service, according to the ASA. ContactPoint provides training, call recording, call scoring, coaching and analytics.
