University of the Aftermarket Foundation to Double Scholarship Donations

May 30, 2013

May 30, 2013—The University of the Aftermarket Foundation will fund $110,000 of scholarships and grants in 2013, the organization announced this week.

The donation, which is double that of the previous year, will be used to help fund automotive vocational school and university scholarships.

In addition, matching grants will be funded for young technicians who have worked in the industry for at least six months.

“The primary mission of the University of the Aftermarket Foundation is to make education more readily available to qualified candidates who seek a career in the aftermarket,” said Rusty Bishop, chairman of the University of the Aftermarket Foundation. “Because of the generous support of those who have contributed to the University of the Aftermarket Foundation, we are able to award more scholarships this year than ever before.”

All of the scholarships and grants provided by the University of the Aftermarket Foundation can be found on the Automotive Aftermarket Scholarships Central website, automotivescholarships.com.
