AASP begins taking grant applications to improve auto repair industry

Aug. 24, 2010

August 24, 2010—The Alliance of Automotive Service Providers (AASP) announced it is accepting grant applications to help fund initiatives to improve the collision and mechanical repair industries.

The decision to offer funding came after a AASP Board of Directors meeting earlier this spring, in which a “wealth of great ideas” to strengthen the industry were acknowledged, according to an AASP press release_notes.

“I look forward to hearing some of the ideas that the grant program brings about,” said Rick Starbard, AASP president. “We are always on the lookout for opportunities to participate in and advance initiatives that make the industry a better place for our members.”

Applications will be accepted until Sept. 30. For more information about the grant or if you are interested in applying, go to autoserviceproviders.com.
