Toyota, Mitchell Partner to Develop New Estimating Tool

Nov. 4, 2013

Nov. 4, 2013—Toyota Motor Sales USA announced Monday a partnership with Mitchell International to develop a new mobile and online estimating system that would expose Toyota recommended repair procedures during the estimating process.

Toyota said the new solution could reduce the time required to write an estimate by eliminating the need to reference multiple sources when repairing a Toyota vehicle.

The tool would also provide standardized information needed throughout the entire repair process.

Toyota said the repair procedures will be available with the release_notes of Mitchell mobile estimating in 2014.

To learn more about the partnership or to see a prototype of Mitchell’s mobile estimating tool with integrated recommended repair procedures, visit the Toyota Wholesale Parts booth (No. 16107) at the SEMA Show.
