KOI Auto Parts, Federated Auto Parts to host repairer training expo

Dec. 27, 2011

Dec. 27, 2011—KOI Auto Parts partnered with Federated Auto Parts to host the 2012 Cavalcade of Customs and Training Expo in Cincinnati.

The 52nd annual event is scheduled for Jan. 13-15 at the Duke Energy Convention Center.

KOI said this year’s training expo features 24 workshops and classes for professional mechanical, body shop and management professionals. The workshops will be taught by instructors from Federated and KOI’s manufacturing partners, including Federal-Mogul, Dorman, Standard, ACDelco, Four Seasons, Bosch, Motorcraft and Denso.

“Each year, the show and training expo gets bigger and better. We help our customers navigate through the latest product information and repair procedures by providing them with training and professional development opportunities,” said Dave Wesselman, president of KOI Auto Parts. “Last year we had approximately 600 technicians, managers and shop owners attend classes. We are hoping for our biggest turnout ever in 2012.”

KOI said the expo will also include a vendor area with product displays, which will feature more than 60 exhibitor booths. In addition, NASCAR legend Kenny Schrader will be available for photos and autographs Jan. 13 during the expo.
