Dec. 23, 2013—Team PRP’s partner facilities are offering charitable activities throughout the holidays.
One such activity is the “Trees for Troops” program by Wilbert’s Inc. The Upstate New York recycling business operates a Christmas tree farm, and is not only donating trees to the program, but hands-on assistance.
“Our partners have always shown tremendous generosity, and we are extremely proud to see such dedication and charity amongst our members, especially at this time of year,” said Stacy Bartnik, Team PRP’s executive director.
Other participants offering programs are listed below:
- Lewisville Motor Company Inc., a PRP member in Winston-Salem, N.C., is focusing on its local “Marine Toys For Tots Foundation” project.
- In Phoenix, Ariz., Riteway Auto Parts donates gifts for local children and families in need, and donates to a local Shrine Center program through its “Give A Brake To Those In Need” event. The event, in which brake rotors and drums made of cast iron with a high ferrous content were collected separately and then sold to be recycled, donates some of its proceeds to the shrine.
Team PRP is the largest national network of independent auto recyclers united in supplying premium recycled parts, exceptional warranties, and personal service to the mechanical repair and collision industries.
