May 23, 2012

May 23, 2012—Service King Collision Repair Centers on Tuesday opened a new repair facility in Clearlake, Texas, near Houston.

The 40,622-square-foot shop, which has capacity to house more than 150 vehicles in production, will operate with 20 employees, Service King said.

Service King’s new shop location marks its 12th collision center in the Houston market, and its 48th facility throughout Texas. The company also recently announced plans to acquire eight collision centers operated by Arizona-based Auto Body World Inc. in July to initiate its national expansion effort.

“The new Service King facility represents the completion of our service coverage around the Beltway. We’ve been looking forward to this facility for over three years and we are very excited about it,” said Justin Regan, vice president of the Houston market for Service King. “Our number one focus is to make sure each store is running at 100 percent in terms of quality repair, on-time delivery and customer service. We also want to make sure we are offering the superior value and service that our insurance partners have come to expect from all of our Texas locations.”
