I-CAR announces price bump for some classes

September 16, 2010—I-CAR announced Wednesday that prices will increase slightly for some classes beginning Oct. 4.

The instructor-led classroom prices will increase by less than 2 percent and the online classes will remain the same, according to an I-CAR press release_notes. I-CAR coupons purchased in advance will give students discounts of almost $50, bring the cost of a class down to $114 from the normal rate of $160. In addition, I-CAR Gold Class Professional businesses and Platinum individuals can take classes for $97.

“This (price change) enables I-CAR, operating as a not-for-profit organization, to provide many services, maintain our courses and develop new courses that address advances in vehicle manufacturing and collision repair technology,” said Bill Stage, I-CAR director of marketing and distribution. “With these changes, I believe I-CAR can continue to deliver on its vision—that every person in the collision industry, current and future, has the necessary knowledge and skills relevant to their position to achieve a complete and safe repair.”
