June 15, 2012—Rich Weber, former member of the Alliance of Automotive Service Providers of New Jersey’s (AASP/NJ) board of directors, died on Friday. He was 58.
Weber, former owner of Weber’s Auto Body in North Arlington, N.J., was a member of AASP/NJ since the 1970s. He held several positions with the organization after being elected to its board of directors in 1978, and eventually became AASP/NJ’s first “honorary member” in 2008.
“Rich was a very special person who gave a great deal of his time to our industry and to our association,” said Jeff McDowell, president of AASP/NJ. “It is a sad day for everyone who had the pleasure to know him.”
