Collision Industry Foundation to host gala fundraiser at NACE

Sept. 3, 2010

September 3, 2010—The Collision Industry Foundation (CIF) will host a fundraiser gala during the 2010 NACE event in October.

The gala will benefit CIF’s projects: Shops Against Hunger and Recycled Rides. Shops Against Hunger was started by CIF to promote volunteerism for local food banks and to raise funds to donate to local food banks. Recycles Rides is a nationwide project in which members of the National Auto Body Council (NABC) repair and donate cars to families in need.

"The CIF Board felt that this was an opportunity for industry members to give back to the industry while having a great time," said Jeanne Silver, CIF chairwoman. "We are hoping that this will become an annual event that is not only fun, but sheds light on those in need that we can support by attending."
