Summit Consulting partners with Lexus for LFA repair program

June 21, 2011

June 21, 2011 —Summit Consulting Int’l, Inc. (SCI) has teamed up with Lexus to provide a specific repair program for the automaker’s exotic LFA supercar.

Called the LFA Certified Collision Center Program, the initiative is meant to make sure certified collision centers repair the LFA under strict processes that ensure the highest standards.

“We’ve established a level of trust working with SCI throughout the years – they not only understand our goals, but they help us achieve them,” said Jim Anderson, Lexus dealer development and technical operations manager. “It was a natural fit to collaborate with SCI to roll out the LFA collision repair initiative. The LFA is a car like no other, and if it goes into a certified shop for repair, its owner can expect that the results will meet Lexus’ highest quality specifications. SCI has been instrumental in helping us set up our network of collision centers.”

Bob McDonald, president of SCI, said his company has always worked to deliver the integrity Lexus is known for and the LFA program reflects that.

“When you are talking about this kind of innovation in a car, we needed to put rigorous processes in place to ensure that those shops that work on an LFA bring the highest level of knowledge, professionalism, and most importantly, integrity to the job,” McDonald said.

SCI is an automotive consulting firm specializing in the development and implementation of a wide-range of customized process improvement solutions and profit-building programs for service, parts and collision center operations. For more information, go to sciusa.com.
