ABRA opens new Tennessee franchise

April 27, 2011

April 27, 2011 — ABRA Auto Body & Glass opened its 107th facility on Tuesday.

The company announced that the new repair center, in Chattanooga, Tenn. is its 107th location and the fourth franchise awarded to Nelson Bowers II in greater Chattanooga.

“We are very happy with the success of Nelson’s franchises in Chattanooga, Cleveland, and Hixson,” said Mark Wahlin, vice president of franchise development and operations for ABRA. “This success can be attributed to their team’s in-depth knowledge of the damaged vehicle repair industry and their emphasis on integrity. Their professional staff and leadership fit perfectly with our corporate philosophy, and we feel confident that the new Chattanooga location will perform up to the high standards expected of all ABRA centers.”

Bowers said ABRA’s commitment to service and craftsmanship has made his shops’ affiliation with the company rewarding and led to the decision to open the new 25,000-square-foot facility.

“The procedures, training, and marketing support provided by their corporate staff allow us to deliver industry-leading levels of efficiency and quality,” he said. “Our goal has always been to open additional ABRA facilities within the Chattanooga area in order to capture the largest market share in this area.”

ABRA, based in Minneapolis, has said it plans to grow aggressively this year. Five other franchise locations have been added since January. For more information on the company, go to abraauto.com.
