Aug. 16, 2011 — The Boyd Group recently announced the appointment of Eric Danberg to president of Canadian operations and Kevin Comrie to chief marketing officer of the company.
Danberg has been with the Boyd Group since 1997 and has worked in several management positions, most recently vice president of operations in the prairie region. In his new role, he will focus on continued growth and development of the company's Canadian Operations.
Comrie also joined Boyd in 1997, as vice president of sales and marketing. He oversaw those efforts in Canada and led the introduction of consumer-based advertising into the Boyd Group's U.S. business. He will now have company-wide responsibility for sales and marketing efforts.
"Eric and Kevin both bring a wealth of experience, industry knowledge, and a long service record with Boyd to their expanded roles," said Brock Bulbuck, president and CEO of the Boyd Group. "But more importantly, they embrace our vision of what the Boyd Group can achieve in the future. The Boyd Group continues to operate in growth mode and we are positioning our executive team to support our ongoing growth and continued success."
The Boyd Group is the largest operator of collision repair centers in North America. It operates locations in the four Western Canadian provinces under the trade name Boyd Autobody & Glass, and in 13 U.S. states under the trade names Gerber Collision & Glass, True2Form, and Cars Collision.
