LKQ Corporation Finalizes Keystone Automotive Operations Acquisition

Jan. 7, 2014—LKQ Corporation announced Monday its acquisition of Keystone Automotive Operations, a distributor and marketer of specialty aftermarket equipment and accessories, is effective as of Jan. 3.

"We are delighted to complete the acquisition of Keystone, and excited about LKQ's further entry into the specialty aftermarket equipment and accessories business,” said Robert L. Wagman, president and CEO of LKQ Corporation. “Keystone's leading market position, unparalleled distribution network, exceptional management team, and diversified product offerings will play crucial roles in our efforts to grow LKQ's presence in this highly fragmented industry."

LKQ first announced the pending sale in early December.

Keystone has more than 1,500 employees and 25 locations, and serves more than 20,000 specialty retailers and equipment installers throughout North America. The company has a product line of over 300,000 items from over 800 suppliers.
