July 10, 2013—AudaExplore announced that it is making AudaVIN, its patent-pending vehicle identification technology, available to collision repair shops for the first time.
Long available to insurance carriers, AudaVIN utilizes vehicle identification numbers (VINs) to provide complete vehicle-specific information, accurately identify parts and options packages and maximize customer satisfaction.
AudaExplore data shows that use of AudaVIN leads to a 10 percent reduction in supplemental estimates, adding to its contributions toward improving customer service and decreasing repair time and costs, according to Gordon Henderson, vice president of collision repair services at AudaExplore.
AudaVIN is priced on a per-use basis and supports GM, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Mini, Smart, Volkswagen, Volvo, Audi, Porsche, Nissan, Infiniti, Jaguar Land Rover and a growing list of other popular brands.
