Jan. 20, 2014—I-CAR recently named Elise Quadrozzi as its new director of segment development of insurance.
Quadrozzi joins I-CAR after serving two terms as chair on the I-CAR international board of directors. Quadrozzi also previously served as director of claims for Houston International Insurance Group (HIIG).
In her new role, I-CAR said Quadrozzi will focus on development of broader training options for the insurance segment, introduction of additional insurance-specific roles in I-CAR’s Professional Development Program, and engaging new insurance companies beyond the “Top Ten.”
With more than 20 years of industry experience, Quadrozzi has held several senior executive and management positions in claims and operations management. Prior to her role at HIIG, Quadrozzi worked at Crawford & Co. as director of channel management where she focused on Crawford’s education business. She also served as senior vice president of claims and operations for Assurance America, and developed an accident management business unit for AkzoNobel Coatings, according to I-CAR.
“Elise’s extensive industry knowledge and experience, as well as her understanding of the critical roles that safety and training play in the collision repair industry, supports I-CAR’s vision and organizational goals,” said John Van Alstyne, president and CEO of I-CAR. “Elise will certainly be a valuable asset to our leadership team and the industry.”
