Carsmetics expands in New Jersey

Oct. 19, 2012

Oct. 19, 2012—Carsmetics Expert Accident Repair, a chain of collision repair shops based in Tampa, Fla., has opened a new location in Keyport, N.J.

Carsmetics said its new 7,500-square-foot facility is the company’s fifth location in New Jersey, and will serve the New Jersey communities of Hazlet, Aberdeen, Mattawan, Old Bridge, Clifford Beach and Union Beach. The shop will focus on fast-track repairs—drivable damage on vehicle panels, bumpers, fenders, hoods and wheels that can be repaired within a two-day cycle time.

“If you can drive it, we can fix it,” said Danny Gomes, general manager of Carsmetics. “We’re known for repairing rather than replacing parts. We keep the original part in tact when possible to save the customer time and money. Damage is repaired in one day, where the industry typically has very long delays for lighter collision repair.”

Carsmetics now operates a total of 25 shop locations throughout Florida, California, Georgia, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Oklahoma and Pennsylvania.
