Chief Introduces New Collision Repair Measuring System

Nov. 7, 2013

LAS VEGAS, Nov. 7, 2013—Chief Automotive Technologies on Tuesday introduced its LaserLock live mapping system, a computerized collision repair measuring system.

Chief said the system includes a new laser scanner with out-of-level measuring capabilities; 45 targets and a range of attachments; a lockable, portable workstation equipped with dual flat screen monitors, computer and color printer; and Chief software.

According to Chief, the new LaserLock scanner features an ergonomic design that allows the system to map an entire vehicle at once.

Chief also said the design allows for the system to be used with a two-post lift to measure every vehicle, even if the vehicle isn’t level.

The portable workstation is equipped with dual flat screen monitors, a secure body scanner drawer, and secure storage for the computer, monitors and printer.

Chief said the system also includes a tutorial program, on-screen photos of recommended targets, and free interactive live support.
